Our Church

Theological Position

Our church believes that the 66 Books of the Bible <39 Books of the Old Testament and 27 Books of the New Testament> are the infallible word of God. We also accept all that are proclaimed in the Apostle’s Creed.

Apostle's Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,

creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.

He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit

and born of the Virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended to the dead.

On the third day he rose again.

He ascended into heaven,

and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy Church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting. Amen

Our Pastor

Israel Megumi Kosuda

was born in 1958. He grew up in Christian home in Nagano Prefecture. He used to work as a farmer in his family business for 13years after graduating from high school. He got pancreatic disease. One day he dreamed of Jesus, who carried the cross, walking before him. Jesus showed him that he was devoted for self-fulfillment rather than the Lord. He repented his sins and returned to the Lord. Then he felt freedom from many bondages. Later, he dedicated himself to the Lord, and entered The Light of Eternal Agape Seminary in Tokyo.

Now Israel Megumi Kosuda has served the Lord as pastor of The Light of Eternal Agape the Crown of the Life Fukuoka Church. He and his wife have four children.
